We have memories, but that is all they are.
Watching, not returning to, what has already passed
People often dream of returning
(but is that really what they're looking for?)
Do they wish to return
or
do they wish to feel as they once did
do they long for a time, a place
or a feeling
something less tangible and so,
they say they seek to return to a time they once knew
so maybe it will be understood
when all they really want
is just one more moment
to feel like that

(just to feel it again)

Even though most logic says I shouldn't,
I do.
but I'm afraid She might not agree to that
