e I told Emily I'd write a rant about the K++ so that she knew what it was.
OMG! I'm so happy, cause so many people wanted to hear about my pens/pencils/pencil crayons. I was just about to expain to Germy, and the bell rang! =(

Ok, first in explaining the K++, I need to explain its planet, Argon. One of the first things to know about my RP is that it started off as a sci-fi, so, a lot of it takes place in space (space ships, different planets, etc). Argon is a planet, duh. Its also the 'whorehouse planet'. So, that bad area of town that has all the porn shops, strip clubs, and streetwalkers...now has its own planet! Its main industry is sex, followed by...sex. ewww. anyway! Its pretty smoggy there, so its usually in a constant state of dusk during the day. At night, light polution makes it pretty much the same way, as well as smoggy clouds blocking out any trace of sky.
Enough with the geography lesson!
The planet is mostly made up of whorehouses, but the one that has the monopoly over them all, is the K++, full name: Argon Special K++. Its like the microsoft of whorehouses. Lmao. Forget I said that.
Its a huge and very tall building. It actually looks kinda nice on the outside ^^'
Anyway!
Its known for catering to every single fetish imaginable. Scary stuff, folks. The K++ is legally owned by my character Shinto's mother, Kahndrah, or K. But its controlled by the Dungeon King And Queen, Chess and Clarinet. The dungeon is the underground section of the K++ used for S&M type stuff. It looks like a dungeon, duh. K really doesn't get much say in anything. Anyway, Chess and Clarinet's main focus, other than sex, is money, so they don't care who they hurt while they're trying to get business in the K++. Actually, throughout the RP, Chess got killed and replaced with other dungeon kings: Muidem(Cassy's character, Taki's ex-husband, Maxi and Talim's father), Kaemon (actually, he's a masochist), and Hummer (kinda like Cell from DBZ, in the fact he was artificially created using info about all the previous dungeon Kings)(also why I DO NOT like hummers >_< )
Um, I don't really know how I should go about explaining this? :/
Ok, there's the dungeon, it goes down a few floors, then the ground floor...the lobby is used for the administration (blah blah, y'know, filling out job applications n stuff), and it also has rooms (y'know, rooms...like, the workers live in the rooms and work in them too *sounds stupid*) going off to the sides of it. Clay's room is on the ground floor, but it doesn't have a window ;_;
Most of the general rooms are white. Think kinda like a mental asylum...scary white everywhere >_< lol?
OK, I'll skip talking about the Girl's Unit and the Boy's Unit, unless someone asks. Up near the top are the executive rooms, kinda like the lower rooms but nicer, the ones on the outside walls of the buildings have windows (mirrored on the outside though). This is where the more high-paying customers would go. Unless they were buying dungeon time. Anyway, Kazor used executive rooms. Shinto was working up there when she wasn't working in the dungeons. Then above them on the very top floor, is K's office, and her room, as well as Chess's lounge-type-thing.
Um...enough with the architechture lesson?
People can get sold to the K++ and so...owned by them. Not able to leave (and its got pretty good security). The people they own DO have the opportunity to buy their freedom, if they raise enough money to buy themselves. This is hopeless though, because obviously a person would have a very high monentary value, especially when they could be used as a complete source of revenue for their entire life, and even for some time after. They hardly make any money from their jobs, as most of it goes to the K++. Very few actually succeed in buying their own freedom, some demons may accomplish it, as they have a longer lifespan than humans. Likewise, people from the outside can buy people from the K++, as long as they have enough money. This is a more common way of people getting out, though they aren't really freed from sex-slavery.
And now, Emily, the reason I was getting so sad about Clay TT_TT
Clay was born at the K++ to one of the whores that they owned, and thus, was owned by them from the day he was born. Even if his mother had wanted to take care of him, she had no say in the matter and he ended up in the K++ nursery (oh joy...). As he got older he started working as well, his first job being when he was around 1 year old. He lost his virginity at the age of 3.
Yes Emily, which is why I got very sad when you seemed to make fun of him ;_;
I'm very sensitive about Clay.
One of the things Clay feels the worst about (I can't think of another way to describe it), is that they've owned him, and used him for every single thing they possibly could since before he was even born. (some people have fetishes for pregnant women). When he was in the nursery, people with nurse fetishes, or people who fantasized about sex in hospitals or nurseries or whatever (you know what I mean), were having sex all around him (even though he was too young to remember, he knows that he was used as a prop for their fantasy). By age 11 he couldn't take anymore, and tried to commit suicide by slitting his wrists. They have cameras set up in almost every room (another way they used him - voyeurism), and so saw his attempt, and arrived in time to save his life (kinda unfortunate, actually). Of course his blood was collected and used for people with vampirism fetishes (I'm really trying to drive in the point that they'll use people as much as they possibly can). When he recovered, he realized that they owned even his life, so he decided he would try to raise enough money to buy himself, and be free. He was "lucky" to get to be in a film with Shinto (AKA The Wonder). They were both 12 at the time. Clay, feeling sorry for Shinto, as she was pretty much in the same situation as him, promised her that he'd raise enough money for BOTH of them, and they would be free. Shinto, however, being The Wonder, was worth much more money than could ever even be hoped for by someone the K++ owned, or anyone else for that matter. It was essentially a promise that no one would ever be able to keep. Ever since then, he worked full scheduals every day (even people owned by the K++ would get a day off every 2 weeks, but Clay didn't take his, because he wanted to raise the money.).
I don't think I can even begin to explain how damaged he is.
Um, now I'm freaking out, uh, so, I think this rant is long enough.
Maybe I'll rant some more in another journal at another time.
