Mar. 3rd, 2011 12:08 pmI was going to write about this earlier, but I decided to get some sleep and whatnot.
On Tuesday I went to a book signing for Kenneth Oppel. I read every single book of his my school library had when I was a kid, so I was very excited to hear he's going to be my local library's Writer In Residence this year. Of course I am not very good at meeting people even if they're people I want to meet, so there was awkward silence/small talk as he signed my books.
BUT. It turns out he's quite nice. And so, I am going to sign up for another of his presentations, and some writer's craft workshops he's putting on. I am so excited!
This morning as I rolled over in my bed, my finger jammed into my nose and it started bleeding everywhere. What a way to start the day!
Today is supposed to be a writing day. I have three roleplays to reply to and countless other correspondance. This WILL get done. It WILL.
At some point I need to clean my room, but it likely won't be today.
Then on Monday I am leaving for St. Catharines to meet people for the first time, and hopefully not be a big failure at it. I have a feeling the terror will only hit me once I pull into the bus station.
